The key task was to show how the change of hair colour affects not only the way the woman looks but also the way she feels. To place the heroine in completely different environments.
Three images. Three feelings. Three environments.
Mirror as a symbol of transformation.
To move between the images and locations, we suggested using the infinity mirror effect. When two mirrors are placed opposite each other, a corridor of reflections receding into infinity is formed.
Implementing this concept was not a trivial technical job. The intended effect was to have the camera flying through the two parallel mirrors, taking the viewer from one extraordinary location to the next following the heroine’s transformation.
To achieve the desired effect, we used synchronised footage from several high definition cameras moving along the carefully planned trajectories.
For modified gravity effect, we used the Phantom Flex 4k high speed camera, filming the actress falling down at the speed of four thousand frames a second, to be digitally merged in later.

All the locations in this video are fully 3D.
Each of them was designed for the particular image of the heroine: the featureless location with mirrors for the look before the transformation, the intriguing black interior for the evening dress, the open light location by the ocean for the bright red hair.
